Amongst all of the ridiculousness of this world, you deserve to hear something good once in a while!

You don’t get to choose how you’re going to die. Or when. You can decide how you’re going to live now.

Nothing ever happened in the past that can prevent you from being present now; and if the past cannot prevent you from being present now, what power does it have?

Puppy’s Cast Signed by All His Friends
At first, Yuki was really bummed about her paw cast, but after all her school chums signed it over the weekend, she’s feeling a bit better.  ”It’s amazing what a little canine camaraderie can do to brighten your day,” said Timothy Upton, a close friend of Yuki’s.
With newly lifted spirits, the puppy doesn’t feel quite so glum about having to sit out during fetch class — her favorite part of the school day.

Would you like to save the world from the degradation and destruction it seems destined for? Then step away from shallow mass movements and quietly go to work on your own self-awareness. If you want to awaken all of humanity, then awaken all of yourself. If you want to eliminate the suffering in the world, then eliminate all that is dark and negative in yourself. Truly, the greatest gift you have to give is that of your own self-transformation.

Inspirational Motivational of the Day: Phillip Gould, terminally ill with cancer of the esophagus, was given three months to live in the summer of 2011. So Gould spent the final weeks of his life trying to find purpose and meaning in what he called “the Death Zone,” and capturing his most intimate experiences in writing and on film. “I had to find meaning in this recurrence,” he said, “had finally to come to terms with the purpose of the cancer.”

I can’t even think of a witty think to write about this clip.

What an outlook.

Nothing witty to say here either, but you might want to have some tissues handy before pressing play

9 year old’s DIY cardboard arcade gets flash mobbed :) This kid is amazing!

…My friend laughed at her disappearing flowers, confirming to me that the only reason to go anywhere, do anything, bother being alive at all, is to bring pleasure to those who are dear. Which is exactly why I’ve been so mad at her husband. Write that bucket list, live as if it’s your last day, and what you’re really doing is concentrating on yourself-the easiest, most logical thing to fo when you are sick. And oh, I did that. I’m pretty sure that every sentence uttered in the late 1990s-the time between surgeries three and four-was subject-verb-profanity. How I made the people who love me suffer because I was lost in my anger. My days were numbered, dammit…never bothering to think it was OUR days.
